welcome home!
Welcome to Sacred Spaces. I’m so glad you’re here.
Everything you’ll find here was born from a deep love of home, the kind that is built with intention, layered with meaning, and rooted in faith. I’m a wife of over 20 years, a mother to five beautiful children, and someone who has always been drawn to spaces—not just how they look, but how they feel.
My journey hasn’t been tidy. It’s been hands-in-the-dirt, paint-in-my-hair, flour-on-the-floor kind of real. My husband and I built our family home with our own hands—he wielded the tools, I covered every wall in paint—and that experience grounded me in a way nothing else could. It showed me that beauty doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. It just needs to be true.
I’ve homeschooled my children, grown our own food, and made cheese in the kitchen while dreaming about organizing a closet or rearranging a room.
Sacred Spaces is a reflection of all this: a place where homemaking is holy work, where stories matter more than trends, and where beauty is not bought—it’s cultivated.
Here, you’ll find reflections on homemaking and homeschooling, ideas for authentic hospitality, and thoughtful approaches to home decor—all rooted in the belief that a meaningful life begins at home.
If you’re tired of the noise, hungry for meaning, and ready to create a home that reflects your faith and heart—I hope you’ll stay awhile. You belong here.
With grit and grace,
Lani
